our mission

To ensure every child in Jamaica has access to comprehensive eye care, unlocking their potential to succeed in school and life.

See Better. Learn Better. seeks to promote healthy vision and provide comprehensive, sustainable eye care for school children throughout Jamaica. We believe that every child deserves access to quality eye care services and vision screenings, regardless of their background or socioeconomic status.

Our program collaborates with community and clinical stakeholders to identify and address vision problems in children through early detection and intervention. By ensuring children have access to the care they need, we aim to unlock their potential and help them thrive academically and personally.

We also focus on building the future of eye health by providing training opportunities for the next generation of eye care professionals. Additionally, we create educational resources for families and communities to increase awareness of the importance of eye health and vision care.
